Hello!

Me and my wife want to go to your beautiful country first time.
July 2012
One week by boat at Shannon or.....
Does anybody know a smaller boat hirer.
The bigger commercial companies I have checked.
It is not a question of the price but because of the personal contact.

I have used Silverline in the past and always found them great to deal with.

You could look up donedeal.ie to see if you could rent privately.

Shannon Castle Line. They're based in Williamstown, Lough Derg.

The boats are getting a little long in the tooth although I think that's the same for all the companies. The market has suffered the last few years and Emerald star sold off a portion of their fleet.

As above. Use one of those companies for safety. Haggle on price. I managed to get about 30% off several years ago, cant remember which company tho. Also wotprth your while havinf a couple of bikes on board, but remember to lash them down.
