I believe Duffys is overstocked with "expensive" trade ins that cant be shifted without a loss given the trade in prices allowed.
Now I need to be clear here, that story may have no factual foundation - if it does I'm not implying any connection to Paul's departure.
Bought mine off him - didn't have a trade in - decent bloke I guess but we really did not connect - there appeared to be a chasm between us at a personal level. I'm OK with that, my stock of pals is sufficient for my humble needs.

I posted up here a few months ago that I was having a bit of trouble with BMW (Joe Duffys, didn't want to go into details so post was deleted) and I was given a number for someone in Motorrad Ireland (not sure, think that's who it was) to formally complain. Complaint was about Mr. Brown, the guy who gave me the number had to put in a complaint about him too, and he knew of 2 others that had to aswell! Wouldn't surprise me if complaints mounted up against him, they were horrified to hear of what happened and how unprofessional the service was.
