I’ve had loads of emails asking me when we are going to do it. Well, we’ve done it now! All my books are now on sale via Amazon in e-book format.
As I like the tactile feel of having a book in my hand, I was a bit reticent about doing it, but now I’ve seen and used a Kindle and an i-Pad, I’m a convert. I still like and prefer books, but for travel and commuting, a Kindle is a very useful weight and space saving option. Plus, it’s both easy to read from, and a doddle to use. For those of you who know what an IT numpty I am, you’ll know the value of those words!
Kindle book downloads can be read on Kindle readers, i-pads, PCs etc
All the you have to do is to go to the Amazon e-book Kindle ‘Store’: http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=node=341689031&field-keywords=sam+manicom&x=0&y=0
From Amazon.co.uk the books are downloadable at £8.04 inc VAT

From Amazon.com the books are downloadable $9.99 to $12.96
I hope you enjoy the books, and if you do, can I ask a favour. As a writer who doesn’t have a huge advertising budget and isn’t a media personality, Readers Reviews on Amazon are an incredible help to people who are finding my books for the first time. With that in mind, if you are up for posting a few words I’d be very grateful.
This is an Amazon.com Readers Review on ‘Tortillas to Totems’:
‘Just finished Tortillas to Totems while on holiday and I can honestly say it was a riveting read. Sam makes you feel like you are there with him with detailed descriptions of every situation he finds himself in. Being a would be bike tourer myself I am interested in all the intricate details of the trip as far as the bikes are concerned, and Sam does not disappoint. But as my wife tells me, as I ramble along about bikes, not everyone is so interested in bikes! This is where Tortillas to Totems comes up trumps, as Sam keeps the adventure level high and descriptions so vivid that you feel as though you are touring along with him. I hope my eyes can take in as much and my mind can remember as much when I go on my next trip. Well done.’
And this is an Amazon.co.uk Readers Review on ‘Into Africa’:
‘Simply put Sam is a great storyteller. I am not into non-fiction generally, and you have to catch my interest quickly or I just won't finish a book... Sam got me on page 1.’
I’m delighted! For those of you who have already posted Reviews, I can’t thank you enough! Cheers : )
Of course you can always get the books direct from me at www.sam-manicom.com. Signed copies and no middle man : )
