Booking A Hotel With UKGSER Reviews - Hotel Del Oso - Hotel infantado - Santo Domingo De La Calzada and Parador de Santo Domingo Bernardo de Fresneda

HDO is a nice hotel and I first stayed there in 2003/4 and a few times since

Great for romantic couples too

However it’s not my favourite hotel ever, by a fair margin

I love the N621 and N625, especially with the AS114 chucked in to complete the triangle . One of my favourite days riding there is .

Hmm, I must confess I haven't done that triangle in a while, but I did do the N621 recently and it has a new blacktop, which has improved it..... a bit.

The N625 is better out of high season when the kids driving canoe buses aren't on the road - cnuts have nearly had us off a couple of times!. The ALSA can also catch you out on some of those tighter overhang bends as well.

It's OK, certainly a better loop than you're likely to find in the UK, for sure. Maybe I'm spoiled

When I speak to you next I will tell you about a WOW! area we did this year. I'm an idiot because I had a 360 cam and just kept forgetting to attach it. I was having too much fun.

Anyway, we digress.... Wapping will be moving us on if we're not careful.....back to hotels.

The 621 is sublime with its new racetrack surface . Probably wasted on old farts riding bloated WankToasters

Actually this fat old fart and his wanktoaster really enjoyed the 621 with its newly surfaced black top. Marvelous to ride on. Even managed to squeeze the toaster past a wobbly box or 2 along the way….

Booking hotels that have been recommended on here makes life a lot easier. Booked our first night staying in the picos through Brittany Ferries deal, chose the Hotel Del Oso after reading a few reviews. I wish I had booked for longer than 1 night. Amazing hotel, welcome, food and out of Potes just makes it even better. If you are going to the Picos it is a highly recommended place to stay. Disappointed with the Hotel infantado, but it was after staying in the Del Oso.
We were looking for somewhere to stay in Ainsa, looked on UKGSER search and up popped Hotel Dos Rios. Chanced my luck turned up booked at the hotel, cheaper than some dot com booking sites. Excellent hotel, location and food.
Heading back towards Santander tomorrow, looked on UKGSER search, some guy recommended Santo Domingo De La Calzada and Parador de Santo Domingo Bernardo de Fresneda. Will hopefully get in there for 1 night. It looks pretty good. Fingers crossed it's as good as the UKGSER review said. Oh and the Pyrenees beats the Picos for me.
