I no longer own my GS and now ride an S1000 R.

I still mostly wear textile clothing for longer journeys but have started wearing a leather jacket and Furygan jeans combo for shorter trips.

I'd like a pair of waterproof boots, with shin protection, that will fit under both the textile trousers and the jeans.

I suspect that I may need to forgo the shin protection aspect when wearing bike jeans and just wear a pair of 'normal' boots.

Pair of of Altbergs Clubman or similar, they are good enough for out Police boys, other options is a pair of Daytonas, both can be re soled etc. Big vote for one pair.

Sidi Adventure?

I wear rst paragons and my jeans go over the easily. They're waterproof and comfy, not to mention reasonably priced

Daytona GTX for me. They go under my Rukka trousers, or bike jeans, with no problems.:thumb

 I ain't wearing 'bell bottoms' ffs

:D

I'm pretty sure that "boot cut" jeans will go over the top of these, (unless you have massive calves of course) although I'm sure someone will be along shortly to prove me wrong (Or right) who wear such things :D

I'm no longer the right shape for 'skinny' jeans but the Furygan jeans are a 'straight leg' cut.

I may be mistaken but don't / didn't you own a S1000 R too?

Yep, I did. I used to ride that with the Daytona boots, and jeans. You may want to get jeans/ trousers slightly longer than you usually would, as they tend to ride up if worn over your boots on that bike, due to the angle of the footpegs. You could always tuck them in, I guess, but that just looks wrong!:D
