Boots / Waterproof ?

I have researched the range of offroad type boots a little now and it appears that most of them are not waterproof. However, some people recommend using a goretex sock inside...

Has anyone done this and if so, are your feet comfortably dry in heavy rain?

Yep, came to the same conclusion re the boots. I use Acerbis X Tight which are supposed to be waterproof - but anything with a 8" hoel in the top isnt really! I use Sealskinz socks, brilliant at keeping your feet dry - unless of course you're in it up to your thighs

Seal skinz are fab. Bit thick for summer use, but completely waterproof.
