Has anyone had experience using / fitting the BOS rear can on a R1200 GS ?

BOS Exhaust

Got BOS de cat headers. Some of the best quality stuff that I have seen. Highly recommended.

Thanks guys I got a BOS rear carbon can from fleabay for a real good price and really pleased with the quality of the product. The sound it makes is very nice, not over the top !

Next on the List

The BOS decat headers are next on my list ! do you need any remapping to the system when they are fitted ?

That might depend on which year your bike is. '04 - '06 don't seem to present too much of a problem. '07 can run a bit lean, although mine ran fine for the time that I had a full Remus system fitted to it but there is a concern about longer term damage.

'08 onwards, I wouldn't dream of running a full system without running the bike on the dyno and having air/fuel ratios checked. At that point be prepared to buy one of the aftermarket devices which adjust the fuelling and to have the bike mapped on the dyno.
