BOS Slincer

I've found a used Bos slip-on silincer for a reasonable price (around £180)

I'm considering to buy it but it was for a 06 model. My bike is a 07.

If I'm not mistaken the center stand has changed after year 2006.

Does anyone have any idea if it will be a perfect fit or need some modifications?

I thought it was the header pipe that changed not the end can for the curved / straight mainstands.

took the remus headers and bos can off my 06 gs and put them on my o8 adv. no problems.

Fitted a BOS carbon can to my 08 GS. The can & link pipe looks similar to the one in your picture. Fits ok to the bike. Mainstand clears the exhaust but does not touch the small hanging bracket; not sure if either stand is meant to locate against the bracket anyway.

I mounted the silencer today w/o problems

Learned that silencer only systems fit all. Earlier complete systems were different and wouldn't fit.

The later complete systems fit all models.
