According to https://www.ageas.co.uk/solved/your-car/driving-in-europe-and-beyond/

"All UK vehicle insurance policies include the minimum third-party cover to drive in the EU, including in Ireland, Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Serbia and Switzerland."

I note on my Aviva bike policy certificate issued by Devitt that it does not list B&H. Hence, B&H is not included in the extension I have to give me full cover in France etc for 90 days. According to Ageas, Aviva would be obliged to give me 3rd party cover in B&H as they are now an EU accession country and part of the wider European insurance agreement.

I note on my Ageas car policy that the certificate lists B&H in the territorial limits. For my car, I would have full cover in the European extension for up to 60 days in B&H.

It would be nice if Aviva actually listed B&H on the certificate and included it in the full cover extension in my policy.

If I was planning a trip to Bosnia I might be inclined to ask Aviva/Devitt if they are just using an old template for documents or are they ignoring a change to the Multilateral Agreement on insurance.

Just been down that way, phoned my insurance company and they issued me a Green card just for Bosnia Croatia and Montenegro had to buy insurance just over the border for Albania.

It’s easy to fall foul and enter HG if you are headed down to Dubrovnik as the HG border cuts through the middle of Croatia to allow HG a costal port.

It means a bit of a detour onto an island to drive around it and stay in Croatia.

it's the Pelješac peninsula not island as you only cross water once

although the new bridge opened in 2022 makes it easier
