Bought my first GS :)

in 1989 I had a short ride on an r80gs and though it wonderful. I've wanted one ever since. Today I got one via vzzzbuxt on this forum. Hadn't ridden once in all that time and just had a hugely entertaining ride home this afternoon.

I think the XJ600 in the back of the garage is now sulking. I'm happy though.

No, I've had it for 8 months and it's never skipped a beat, apart from a dirty wiring connection that caused the lights to go out once. Took a while to track down but some contact cleaner and a little emery paper fixed it easily enough. It's 17 years old and in better condition than many bikes half that age. It's for sale in the ads on here if you're interested
