Anyone used one of these in the rain, without the liner? How waterproof is it, as it's waxed cotton, and claimed to be waterproof?

I was looking at these in my local dealer, and have to say i was very tempted!

My twat suit is good for off roading and also good in the heat, but I look errrrrr, such a twat in it

Under the radar is good! The Boulder jackets look nice ...

I've had mine for about a year, and it's very comfortable, just like a normal jacket, but I've never ridden in any serious rain with it on. It comes with a liner, but it'll be too hot with that, so I'll probably just run the risk this weekend.
