box on front of H&B bars

Has anyone fitted a box on the front (in front of the engine) of 1150GS H&B engine bars ? I've always thought this would be a good place for some extra storage.

No.....but I did fasten my bungees to the rear footpeg brackets on my 125 once.


Just the once,mind you........they were swing arm mounted...

No but a mate of mine drilled holes in his Fizzy swinging arm to make it lighter.

Swing Arms..? Yeah

On one of our Club Runs a Bloke kept stopping and getting off and looking at his rear wheel? After a couple of stops I took a look and asked, "Whats yu problem"? " Dun know, I think I have a Flat back tire"? I got off and took a look? Bugger me!! He had mounted his new Panniers from the frame to the lower Shock mounts!! (Rectangle frames made bike rear end Rigid) ! True story, BIGJim Tasmania. We are not all that THICK !!
