Iain,

I've just been out with the dog and the main raods are fine cos they're gritted but the side roads and pavements (here anyway) are still treacherous amd don't look like improving soon.

My fear is that some of the wee windy roads nearer Glen Lyon will be the same.

I propose that we call this run off and go when the weather improves (next Saturday even?) and it'd be better attended for the "SS Opening Ceremony"

Ronno

Hats off to the boatman :clap That's a fair old hike from Girvan.

Sorry you missed the post this morning boatman but hope you enjoyed yer day. I take it you were the sole GSer there?

Bra! I ended up workin late the day so wouldn't have made it, Wasn't too frosty about half five this morning, seemed to be when daylight came in the frost came down. Roads real slippy around forfar just now, although its a wonder cause they're about a foot deep with salt. Still had the 8 wheeler sidey ways, great fun!!:thumb2

So is next Saturday a possibility?

And enough of the cracks about collars, Andy, I tell you I'm tired already. The beastie cannae go out, so has to be excersized inside. Its whining for its mammie, we think, and we don't yet understand what all these whines are for yet! So, when the batteries are charged, I'll probably put a pic on the dog thread.
And if you all don't mind praying that it goes to sleep tonight for a good few hours, 'cos I fear I might be getting past waking up in the middle of the night and checking out the crying. I'll let you know in morrow how things have gone.
Good fun so far, though.

I hope so, you couldn't have a chat with the Boss and see if he could do us a favour.....:augie

Well done Boatman :thumb2

I was running late so didn't check the site before setting off ( :blast ).

Got to McDonalds at the FRB at about 10:20 to find Hibbee waiting. He thought the run was off, but we waited until 10:45 before concluding that no-one else was coming.

I was up for the run, but decided against going alone, so went home and got my chainsaw out. I've lots of 'chores' to do so had a good day outside getting firewood ready.

I only covered 20 miles, but it still took over an hour to wash the bike :blast

Next Saturday then ?

Bob.
