Here we go - pictures of the discs, in case you need to know what a disc looks like.

Standard front 1100/1150 GS disc.

Fits ABS and non ABS. £85 each.

Rear discs also available £85 each.

Wavy Disc, fits Front 1100/1150 GS, ABS and Non ABS.

£85 each. PM me

( Apparently, these are better for cleaning the mud and crap from the disc pads for all you mucky offroaders so i've been told )

Neil,

Is this going t be a continuing line or should I 'lay some in' for the inevitable day I need them?

Hopefully a continuing line, so no panic.

The futures bright , the futures wavy :D

new wavy pattern - fitted to an ADV.

Don't forget brakepads are available as well - Ferodo platinum.

Brembo calipers £16 a set

BMW calipers £18 a set

Rears £16 .

Neil - serious question.

Are you sourcing them as parts already manufactured - or have you designed and had them made in batches ?

Reason I ask is that if they are to your design then there are implications involved if they were to fail - especially if sold to a club member type person

If you're just sourcing them -then no worries :thumb

All sourced from a bona-fida brake disc manufacture of many years repute -

I don't like wavy discs - it's just one of the patterns they produce. :thumb

I read somewhere that the only part the 1200 had in common with the 1150 was the front brake disks.

Could it be they'll fit the 1200 too?

Not that I want any, they look a bit, err, :ymca IMHO

The front calipers and brake pads are the same - Not sure about the discs.

Mouse measured his 1200 discs, and i measured some 1150 discs i had at the time ( can't remember if they were from an R1150R, which are different to a GS anyway) and there was a slight difference. Mmmmmemorys a bit fuzzy :rob as it must have been over a year ago

A mates 2004 1150 Adv had Tokico calipers and my 1200 has Brembos. I would expect the disks to come from the same manufacturers as the caliper makers so they could be incompatible between the 1150 and 1200 models.

Are there different patterned wavy discs because the loose wavey disc pic isn't the same pattern as the fitted wavy disc pic :nenau

The tokico calipers are only fitted to some bikes, mainly servo models, but not all servo models - the 1200 caliper is the same as the 1150 caliper from 2001, it's badged BMW ( as is the tokico caliper), the pads are the same pattern, but the 1200 and 1150 are 77mm across and the BMW tokico is 81mm . I'll get my anorak on the way out :D

Ahhh..I see now. There's two patterns of wavy discs, old and new. Not new wavy discs as in you've just started doing wavy discs. Stupid me. I guess I should have looked at the dates of the 2 posts. :thumb

At half past midnight, after consuming copious amounts of Jim Beam its a little hard to read the words so I have to resort to just looking at the pictures :D
