I purchased an R80ST which I have been doing some work on to get it road worthy.
The previous owner has replaced the original brake hose with a braided that goes from the master cylinder straight to the caliper.
It has now come to the point where I am re-assembling the front brake and the hose male thread fitting that goes into the master cylinder looks wrong to me. It has a concave end as does the master cylinder inside, but I thought it should be convex so the two mate together.

Am I right or wrong with my thinking?
Anyone looked at one of these hoses recently?

By the look of it there has been some form of sealant on the threads, and it does look as if you should have a convex surface to seal against.
I can vaguely recall looking at a site a long time ago from a country which allowed home made lines and they had a good selection of ferrule raptors to cover almost any contingency.
Always assuming you are not trying to put the line on top top bottem, of course!
