Last night I adjusted the rear brake pedal as it was too long. Today I found out I adjusted it a bit too much and the disc overheated. The bleed nipple on the calliper spat a bit of fluid out as I assume it was boiling. Ten minutes stop, it cooled down and I was able to reset the adjuster a little. Having just ridden home from work it now seems OK.

The question is, should I now be changing the fluid, pads, disc ?

Or just take it steady for a bit ?

Someone will come along and say you must change everything. Me personally I would leave it if the brake feels ok. Can't understand why the nipple would leak thou. Might be worth just checking it's tight
