Hi all
I had the warning light come up on dash today. Checked book and it says defective rear brake light.

I checked and its permanently on.

Whats teh best way to ajust it?

I assume its at the foot pedal end where there should be some ajustment to activate the brake light.

Bit dark right now but would appreciate soem input.

Thanks

Like as not muck in the switch.. at the footbrake. give that a clean and see if its the cure.

Could be a fecked switch also, make sure the handguard hasn't moved if fitted and is holding the lever on.

Is the bike ABS or non;nasty servos or old style ABS?.
Does the actual brake light come on?.
Try changing the bulb/checking for corrosion in socket.
Can you hear the brake switches click when you operate the levers.

answer

Looks like the bulb is blow.

Nicly rusted in though and was abugger to get out.

Ill get a bulb tomorrow and all should be sorted.

Thanks
