Brake LOSS

recently got my first 1150gs adventure 2002 last week great, but every now and then when braking and coming down thruogh the gear box i loose all the brakes, the red lights come on the warning sign comes on ???, then when you rev the engine the brakes start to work again . i am completely gusumped and have no idea why, does any body have any answears for me
its an abs model, has it got something to do with the servo assistance?

is your bike a servo model ??

Having ABS doesn't mean it has servo brakes

thanks for that Fanum , but could you be more specific for me as i am a vigin to the GS, everything else electrical works fine and she fires up first time

With the bike running, wiggle the wiring around from the ignition switch. See if the bike cuts in and out .

just been round the block wiggling the wires and when it was stood still but to no avial bike did not cut in or out
