Brake options on the 1200

In the UK, do you get an option for regular non-servo assisted brakes on the 1200?

Not that i'm aware of.

Early UK bikes had ABS as standard for £9275. Later bikes were offered without ABS at a lower entry price of £8495, with ABS as an extra cost option. Not 100% sure about the servo assistance on the non-ABS model but I suspect it is just regular master and slave hydraulics if it is cheaper to build. Someone here will have the non-ABS model and can correct me if I am wrong.

Yes the none ABS bike has plain old brakes no servo, and they work great.

Yes - my April 2005 1200GS had non-servo, non ABS brakes.
