Brake pad question

On my old R1200GSA 2007 hexhead, I tried EBC pads but found them really grabby, very sharp breaking. Which is fine if you want that.
Also noticed they created more dust on the calipers and wheels.

I decided to go back to Ferodo as the original pads fitted, I thought these were OEM but could be wrong. Got them from Motorworks
For my riding at that time they were better.

Mothership gives two options for the fronts i believe

A std pad, and an alternative if the user finds them a bit noisy

The rears get one option only

EBC sintered front and rear. Although currently have a different brand of sintered in the front as couldn't get EBC anywhere during lockdown when I needed them. Ferodo or Brembo, can't remember which, but they feel no different to the usual EBC's.

I have used EBC HH for years. The last set I ordered the company were out of stock. They offered me SBS pads for the same price. Normally more expensive. I accepted as I needed them quick.
As good as the EBC if not better.

Brembo pads and discs front and back. Sintered pads

James Sherlock
Front EBC sintered pads.
Rear Ferodo compound pads
You are welcome

p.s. Brembo for disks soon . 4.6mm and BMW recommend replacement at 4.0mm. Half expecting a comment when mot due in March.
I have suffered a warped rear BMW disk, with mot failure , so not prepared to go cheap with disks .
