Brake pad thickness.

Anyone know what thickness the rear pads are when new.

I've got a trip to Assen, then a trip round the Pico's coming up in June/July and don't want to get caught out.

There are no wear grooves in the OEM pads, and the front/rear pads are at the same thickness/wear rate. (6mm approx).

rear brake pads

I just slipped my rears out, curious being aware of wear in previous postings,as heading to france friday,
First thing my october 14 bike has sintered pads from new, the left side pad was 7.2 mm right side 6.55mm, the backing is approx 3.5 mm so at lowest 3mm left, at 4200miles,plenty left
no tools needed to remove, two spring clips and slide the pin out pushing the pads up against the stainless tab,i was surprised how easy,
I have aset if ebc sintered hh ready to fit,
