So, which are the best brake pads for a GS?
The BMW are sort of soft butter. They last less than a tenner in my pocket..

Opinions please?

I have used EBC 'HH' pads on several of my bikes now and find them very good, both for stopping ability wet or dry & pretty good wear rate.

Make sure you get some with anti-rattle clips. I'm running with EBC's at the front without em and they're really annoying when riding through town without earplugs in. Steptoe sells pads at a good price and his have the clips.

I tried EBC once as they were cheaper than BMW but found that they only lasted for half the time BMW pads did. Went back to BM pads as it was inconvenient to keep changing EBC. I appreciate that pad wear will depend on riding style etc but from my own experience would stick with BMW pads.
