Am just at Williams in Manchester having new tyres fitted and the play in the rear wheel looked at they identified before Xmas and they’ve told me there is another recall for the 1300.

I’m not sure if it’s the front or rear brake master cylinder but there’s some sort of screw that goes into the cylinder (didn’t really take proper notice) which in some cases “can work itself loose” so they’ve got to check and measure it and replace if needed. I’m told it’s not a safety concern but something to be aware of in case you get a letter.

So, Its a service bulletin, not a recall. There'll be a persistent stream of these. Its normal.

Mine got checked during the switch block change - it was ok

Dealer said it was associated with how tight the screw was……..

mine is currently in getting first service, software update for the suspension and right switchgear. I hope they checked this out too!!

Anyone know if theres a link anywhere with the full list of recalls?

Following on from my own previous post re enhancement codes, I have just checked my own 1300|GS ASA (which was new in Nov24), & surprised to see there is an enhancement code now listed for the bike. It has only appeared within the last couple of weeks since I last checked.

I will contact my dealer but before I do wondered if anyone knows how to find out what the codes mean?. I won't be rushing to take the bike in in this weather :-) .
The code is as follows:--

"There is an open technical enhancement on this vehicle. Enhancement code 0061660000."

Found some info re the 61660000 code on another forum. They say it is a software update to fix an ASA problem where the gearbox could go into an unintended neutral when riding in manual mode in 1st or 2nd gears.
Won't affect non ASA bikes.
