Hi Guys!

Just dragged the bike out from under it's winter woolies!.
Seems the rear brake disk. Seems to get coated with rust so easily. I know this can be cleaned off. But has anybody else tried alternative Disk?

Also those Plastic Hindges, they have on the BMW alloy panniers.
Anybody got a suggestion for a replacement Stronger Hindge?

Ronnie

If you are puitting your bike away for winter give the discs a wipe with WD40 then clean it off with brake cleaner or alcohol when you bring it out, don't try and ride it till you clean it.

Also remove the pads and clean them thoroughly.

Or better still wheel it into the living room and polish it over the winter months.

Make sure that you have a nice rug to put it on first...

Or even better still don't put it away for winter but keep riding it...

Can one of you post a picture of the Mbw plastic hinges, as I've just found a supplier that has a huuuuuuuuuugggeeee range, and there must be something similar there.
