These photo's were taken at the dealers when I picked up my brand new black 1200GS this morning.

In the dealer's showroom, my brand new stead, awaiting it's rider! :D

The clocks showing 2 km, before I'd ridden it out of the dealers of BM Center in Ruddervorde.

Outside in the parking area, me with my new Wunderlich tank-bag fitted and (almost) ready to go. ;)

So John, what are you going to change about it?:augie
Take care on getting those tyres scrubbed, and enjoy yourself.:thumb2

Hi John,
that tank bag looks very like the BMW one I had on my 1200 and its ideal for bring ing over lots of belgean chocolates in. Your truck is best fr bringing the beer ......!!

Enjoy your new bike

Thanks, it was a bit hairy coming out of the dealers, I mean I've had new tyres before, but together with the quicker steering on the 1200, it felt like I was riding on ice!

20 km on it felt much better :D , although I've got to wait until 200 km before I can really start to play with it!

Hi Andy,

Yes, the Wunderlich tank-bag is quite similar to the BMW one, it just costs €100 less! The chocolates is no problem, although I will eventually get my Jesse panniers fitted, which will be better for both the beer and the chocolate! :beerjug:

I should really change my avatar, as I know longer have a truck, I've now changed jobs, so I have more time to ride the :GS, although less money to spend on it! Ah well!:thumb2

Very nice, have many happy miles :thumb2

I remember when my one was that shiny.

Thanks very much, Phil, I do hope I will and hope to keep it shiny as long as possible! I can remember my last and only other brand new bike, not looking new for long, it was a 2001 Honda FireBlade, which I bought a week before Christmas, the winter salt ruined the exhaust end can within days, even with regular washing and polishing!

John. Enjoy it. :beerjug: I expect we'll see lots of photos from you with it featuring prominently.

Ride safe.

Thanks Derek :thumb2 , the reason I bought the tank-bag was for somewhere to store my camera. ;)
