dose anyone know the no. for bmw breakdown service in Ireland (Republic) JJH

1800 208 408 is BMW Motorrad Insurance 24 hour assistance number.
Hope thats of some help.
 
i'm with Quinn.............but think that Adelaide provide the 'BMW' poilicies, dont they...?

Thanks very much to all I got the number its Mondial 01602700or1800409900 Talking to a nice lady bike will be collected in aprox 1 hour. Bought a 06 rt off Kearys about 4 weeks ago. Its pissing oil big time out of the sump. I am at home so no panic now was getting a bit steamed up a bit calmer now. Sidecar will get a work out tormorrow.JJH

My '05 RT did that:eek:

it was the banjo joint on the return pipe at the side of the engine casing just in front of the oil sight glass. Checked it on the GS and it was in need of torque adjustment also.
 
not in my case. Unfortunatley it looks like some kind of impact damage that will cost 2200 about JJH
 
needs new bottom crankcase about 1000 + gaskets + 1000 labour not a happy camper although I may be coverd by insurence 650 axcess with proected ncb. I will see what the assessor says. FECK FECK ECT>
 
Good news insurence co. is paying!!! cost to me = 650 euro and I keep my ncb. not too bad. JJH

I'm curious what you mean by "impact damage", as the initial impression was of a mechanical fault?
 
I have no idea what happend and wrongly assumed that something internal had bashed the crank case. This was looking in the dark. It now looks like something was deflected from the front wheel and did the damage. Not nice bike is now striped and awaits parts. JJH
 
Got bike back last wednsday 6/10 all working. Fair play to the lads in Duffys thanks for the help, advice and loaner. Hope I did'nt put too much milage on it. JJH
