Kingfisher cafe is currently closed because of nearby flooding but hoping to open tomorrow. Temperature is forecast to be -1C on Saturday morning. This gives me concerns that there would be ice on the damp back roads! I looked at the options of moving the meet to Nottingham airport cafe but that was also closed due to flooding this week! Happy for suggestions and opinions on this. Gerry

I will keep the meeting on for now. I can only advise people to check their journey is safe and if the cafe updates their Facebook I will share it here. Gerry

Hang on Chris, thought you had heated grips and seat on the GS ? Last edited: Jan 8, 2025

We can both arrive on our new Nortons next time then Andy. Sorry I forgot you are waiting for a 25 plate! A bit chilly yesterday at the Lakes and I didn’t spot anyone fishing! Impressed that Marko came on a bike. Gerry

Probably first outing in April, you know how anal I am regarding salt etc. Look forward to getting your first impressions of the bike Gerry.
