Good turnout this morning (in cars) with 4 bikes (2 with pillions) braving the freezing fog.

Busy cafe today even with the fishing lakes frozen over!

Would have preferred the heated grips to the heated steering wheel but the ice scared us off.

At 08.00 it was -5C so the handlebar muffs were worth their weight in gold, silk liners and warm gloves worked on all bar 4 fingers on my throttle hand. I think it is the vibration that is causing the problem, even being very light hold, you have to grip hard enough to twist the throttle. Otherwise I was warm inside, with ice on both sides of my visor and my helmet iced over. Cool. Getting me in the swing of winter riding after a year of easy conditions!
