There has not been any breakfast meets in the Peaks section for some time now. Is there enough interest in arranging one? The East mids ones are quite a jaunt for me and a ride out to the Peaks for brekky and a meet is appealing!

I'm up for it Adrian. 👍

Possibly - just pick a date that does not clash with the East Mids Breakfasts (y)

Happy to come if I’m available.

If everyone can get as far as Sheffield then the hidden gem cafe does a world class breakfast. 👍🏻

If you tell em it's the outskirts of Sheffield not far from the roundhouse and Norfolk arms and not the city centre it may bring some in;; that's if i've got the right place; :beerjug:

That’s the one. Basically it’s in the Peak District.

As Paul S says, don't clash with the East Mids ones, and most of us will enjoy a ride to join you.

Outskirts of Sheffield is a little worrying as to whether or not all of our bikes will still be there after breakfast. :D

come west, but stay south of Wrexham ... some decent caffs in Shropshire & Powys

How’s the Old Smithy in Monyash these days?
Worth a meet there again?
Limited indoor seating if weather inclement, gets really busy in good weather so may not get seated, but a nice venue.
Consumed a great apple cake / ice cream combo the other week.

This is the problem with the Peaks. As it's soooo lovely, the places get really busy as normal, so finding a suitable place can be tricky.

How about the Beltonville Farm.

I might even bring a tent and arrive the night before!!

You would'nt like the outskirts of Sheffield just up the rd from me; :D

The Cow Shed at Beltonville Farm is very good. Stopped going to Monyash as it gets too busy at the weekend but OK midweek unless you arrive just behind an oldies cycling club.

Always room in or out at the Cow Shed as it is very big. Good breakfasts at a reasonable cost.

It’s on the Tideswell to Millers Dale road on the right just after the Youth Hostel. Watch the entrance as it is a bit rough and steep.
