I've got what I believe is a 1100 Brembo twin pot caliper fitted to my PD which works very well. Minor machining of the caliper to clear the fork leg lugs, otherwise a straight fit.

Just wondering if the 1100 Brembo will fit a 1982 R100RS fork leg.

Paul, If the original caliper is the same as that originally fitted to your g/s then you shouldn't have any problems. Check the hole spacing. It should be the same. I used to use an 84 80RT twin shock, which had the same brembo single pot calipers as the later Mono's and Jill's 100 GS, though hers is also fitted with the 1100 caliper (I have the original in the garage). So if the RS and RT shared the same forks it should be ok.

I just had a look on Max BMW. The part numbers for the 84 RT and the 82 RS are both the same. The revised caliper has the same part number as the 80 g/s's revised caliper too (34111464850) :thumb2

Cheers Val,

I'll see if I find a pair of Brembo twin pots calipers then.

Have to say the tp on the pd works pretty well.

You should have been looking a couple of weeks ago, a pair of 1100/1150 twin pots whent unsold at £91 no bids (bugger, :blast I deleted the listing). Mind you if Id had the cash I'd have them in my garage right now :augie

Don't spose you know the where abouts of a really well priced (in my favour) disc for a Mono or a K bike?
