I had to take a days leave because I had a morning visit arranged for a dishwasher engineer, Morning visits are 8am to 1pm. So I was expecting a long wait. Luckily my engineer arrived at 8.45 and was finished by 9.15 so the rest of the day was mine.

I decided to visit some local micro breweries. So post codes stuck in my Zumo I headed out to enjoy the great biking roads that abound in the Chilterns. My first stop was at Tring. View attachment 185800 where a couple of bottles were purchased. then on to Brill to the Vale brewery View attachment 185801 had a nice chat in the brewery shop about which beer to try, and eventually made my choice. more bottles rattling in the panniers. I then headed over to the Chiltern brewery near Wendover View attachment 185802 and grabbed another couple of bottles, my last brewery was the Rebellion brewery at Marlow View attachment 185803 for another purchase. From there I headed home via some more great roads.

It was only 100 miles but I had a great time, going through pretty villages and enjoying the roads, certainly beats working or waiting for an engineer to arrive.

Beers bought were, 2 x Jack O'Legs from Tring
1 x VPA & 1 x Gravitas from Vale
1 x John Hampden Ale & 1 x 3 hundreds ale from Chiltern
and a couple of litres of IPA from Rebellion.
