Bridgestone Battlax Adventure Feed Back

Ive purchased a GS1250 with Michelin Anakes and was thinking of changing to a road tyre.

Seeing all the Pilot 6 issues I noticed that all new bikes in 2 dealers had the Bridgestones on, any one any feed back on these please?

I found with the Bridgestone A41, the front wore really quickly and was goosed by 5000 miles, with no proper feel in the wet, where the rear still had plenty of life left. I much prefer the Michelin Anakee Adventure to them.

However, my favourite it Continental Trail Attack 3

Strange, I found the opposite. After 5k miles, my A41's were wearing as expected on the rear (probably last another couple of k's) but the front looks like new with no cupping etc. I like them a lot with great feedback and inspire confidence. The 44 teeth boys like them as well if you review their VLogs.

I thought they (A41's) were probably the worst tyre I have ever had fitted - utter shite, front was goosed after 2500, no confidence in them whatsoever - binned the pair and got trail attacks fitted (V rated) Really good tyres that I will fit again

This must be the first time someone has ever contemplated switching to A41`s as they`re almost universally slated by tyre snobs due to the excessive amount of road roar produced.
My 1250 had them fitted from new and yes there was a distinct din coming from the front end somewhere but either i`ve got used to it or it has reduced considerably because i can`t really hear it these days. It never bothered me anyway, i always use ear plugs.
Bike has done 6500 miles and front tyre is at ~2mm and rear ~5mm. First bike i`ve owned that wears the front quicker than the rear.
They`re just tyres, unless you`re a road racer arn`t all tyres the same, really (in the dry, anyway)...?

i binned them after 1800 miles i thought they were shit

tyre guy said they are his best selling tyre i put T32 on i got around 8500 from the first set now on my second set at 14900

pleased with them so i may put them on my H2 SX when the s22 oems are worn

They are shite for feel in the wet, but they wont let go for normal riding.

I had no issues with the handling of the A41 on other bikes, but the profile is all wrong for the 1250, that’s why it wears the front so badly.

Really poor tyre choice for the GSA.

Conti Trail Attack3 have transformed my bike, wifes GS runs Michelin trail 5 and they are also very good

The Bridgestone squares off fast and is far from inspiring when new.
Continentals. Road attack3/4 or trail attack3. Great choice for the GS.

I've just swapped from the Bridgestone Battlax A41 - the front wore in a very strange way and I never felt very confident in them.

A couple of days on the new Conti Road Attack 4's and the bike feels so much better - 1250GS TE.

The Road Attack 4 is a purely road tyre.

I’ve got them fitted on my new 1250GS TE , they are very noisy and after only a few hundred miles I am just reading through the various threads as contemplating changing them .

Took a 1250 rallye to Scotland and back over Christmas, snow, rain, dry..
They were fine, no issues. ( obs dont ride through snow lol) but slush etc no worries, if you want noise, karroo 3 are good for that.

Both times 2 x fronts to a rear...only bike I've had this happen on
Never had a problem with the tyres, dry or wet in over 10,000 miles
Replaced with Metzler 01's on the 1st bike, great tyre
About to change the A41's for a pair of Michelin 6
See how they get on
Everyone has a favourite but I can't say a bad thing about the Bridgestones
Personally, I wouldn't buy a pair of Dunlop anything after a bad experience an age ago

In the interest of fairness, had the Michelin PR6's fitted to GS this morning after the A41's
Have done 80+ miles today and they are excellent, no pulling or drifting. cruise on, hands off and the bike stayed true
I could move it by leaning

Awful, awful tyres. I know these are subjective issues, super twitchy, hard to hold a line, wear quick, no redeeming features at all. Crap.

Had the 41’s fitted but after 3k the front is shot while the back is half worn, never had an issue with grip or confidence wet or dry but the way the front has worn the sides away especially on the right side is shocking while the middle of the tyre has tread remaining, I’m putting a new front on tomorrow to make the most of the back before changing both next time, probably back to Anakee’s or TA3’s, my opinion would be avoid the Bridgestone 41’s and listen to the majority for another choice although all tyres are a subjective choice

My TA3’s get fitted on the 19th July to my new 23 1250GS TE after only 500 miles on my Bridgestone adventure 41’s as I can’t stand the noise of these tyres . I will have a pair of 41’s with only 500 careful miles on as taken off by my local Motorrad dealers . 100 quid pair collected from Norfolk if anybody wants them ?
