bridgestone BT45 BT54

Just bought a couple of tyres without seeing them first front is a Bridgestone BT 45 the rear is a Bridgestone BT 54. Totally different tyre pattern.

Just been to get them fitted on me dakar. and tyre place rang someone up and said they where not compatable with the bike
so have i just waisted some moneys or not

Don't know for sure about the sizing, but if memory serves me correctly, the BT45 is a crossply or maybe bias whilst the BT54 is a radial, bad move to mix them I believe.

hi sethmopp there fitted now so we will have to wait and see copied this from the chain gang website(BMW recommends a bias ply front and a radial rear tire)
