Met a couple in Belfast yesterday. Paul and Dawn are from Maryland on a round the world spin that started last July when they flew their bikes to Reykjavik so they could play on the loose stuff. Paul's riding an 08 gs1200 while Dawn's weapon of choice is the 650 Xcountry. From there they have done most of Europe, next is the road of bones to finish in Korea in July. When I met them they were preparing to ride the coast road to Portrush for the NW200, well says I you have the luck of the Irish, one day in a hundred is it sunny and warm here in norn iron and you got it. Lovely couple living the dream, made me feel like a chocolate soldier this morning when I looked at the rain and thought 'Na, too wet to go to the NW.
