Brighton BMW service?

Depends on what you have

There is Steptoe from this parish, top of the M3 if I recall

or

ECM motorcycles Worthing

I've Used ECM, the bike was serviced from them before i bought it, so i went back there

no issues so far

However he only works on boxers, he stopped doing the other models a couple of years ago

I live in Lancing & have my GS serviced at SBS Motorcycles in Lancing Podge & Steve there are brilliant. Place looks like a bomb has gone off but don’t let that put you off. Supplies tyres too. He also maintained my K1600 before the GS.

Eric also works on the K series - mate has a clutch replacement booked in with him....

Agreed - Steve is particularly good with the boxers :)

I have used recently both Group 1 at Portslade and Podge at SBS, both mentioned above.
There is another chap who others on here may know and I have not used him yet but he comes HIGHLY recommended. Works out of his garage / workshop in FINDON.
I have no idea how busy he is and or what he charges but when ever I hear his name it's all 5* so I shall use him next time around. All BMW bits and warranty covered etc. One imagines you would need a lift home and or taxi as it is drop off and collect only. You need to call Eric Anderson 07979 805569.
I hope that helps.

That’s ECM, I’ve just dropped my bike off there today for a 6k service and checkover before we head off on a 6 week Greece trip on the 28th.
Top man 👍

@Brodie13 long time no speak! - Brodie is potentially the most patient man I've ever met in my life, I bought a orange F800GS from him but I couldn't ride it as I didn't have my license yet - he stored it for me for a while and then delivered it to my house 3-4 years back.

Thanks for the recommendations all - I'll go see who has time.

What did Group 1 charge for labour if you don't mind me asking? I called today but they didn't pick up.

For what its worth I have done (almost) everything myself on my all the bikes which are mostly BMWs now. I have just used Group 1 to replace an ECU on my '09 GS, which wasn't easy to diagnose and we did have a few hiccups along the way but the Service Department have been really good, reasonable priced (for a dealer), fair in what they have charged for and had a generally good attitude about everything. High praise indeed!

Fair point, I did say I'll come and that we can make some amendments to this quote because I personally don't think fork oil needs to be replaced at all. The main thing is I need the tyres changed and make sure the bike is still good as I only bought a week ago.

All good thanks 👍 How are you getting on and how’s the leg! PM me if you want?
