Just received my Britannia Mirage 2 Fairing for the 800 :bounce1

Straightforward easy fit, but didn't have time to test-ride as it was past 5pm, -2 deg C, :augie

Nice bit of kit :thumb
Compared to the Wunderlich Vario Touring Screen it's replaced the Mirage gives a greater range of adjustment 6.5cm extra height and drops 4.5cm lower. Thats with the Wunderlich set to its highest setting.
And its got a loverly place to stick me GPS above the clocks :)

Test ride report to follow

was going to post a few pics but I failed :nenau
hellllllllllp :(

It looks fantastic! I shall have to wait to see if the get a uk importer! They would sell bucket loads if the did!

Was it relatively easy to install?

......

You made a dash backing thingie..tell us about it!

what me make a dash backing thingie

the clocks are unclipped and relocated to the "thingie" and clocks now sit more forward toward rider, approx 4cm

Hey, how did you fit those Storm handguards???? I just got some, but the aluminium bar is a different shape and fouls the brake unit. Yours seem to drop down and under it.

Can you please email me on [email protected]

Rideworx in Aus are trying to work out a solution.

Adventure Spec supplied the kit.

Cheers.

Does anyone have a contacted email address for this company?

For some reason my web browser won't load the contact page!

Cheers!

I bought the Barkbusters and Storms from Adv Spec as well, back in spring this year. Simply bolted on the handguards then last week took them off and screwed the Storms on.

Think there was an earlier version of the Barkbusters maybe thats the problem. I'd email Adv Spec they're helpful folk :thumb2
