For Sale Britool torque wrench

Britool 1/2 inch drive torque wrench 12 - 68 nm , came from my late father in laws garage, all works fine

Whilst I don't really need a new torque wrench, for the uninitiated, please don't make my mistake and leave a torque wrench set to anything other than zero.

I made this mistake and my brother kindly pointed it out when we were doing a job together. It ruins the accuracy apparently which he proved by using both of our torque wrenches.

He did suggest I should send it away for recalibrating but I've not needed my bigger tools since I got rid of the Landy.

You can calibrate a torque wrench with a luggage scale.

Was set to zero, no pressure on it when stored,, only reason i am selling it is i already have one and checked with mine it clicks off at the same torque

I have this exact Britool wrench in my tool box, one of the tools my father bought for me when I started my apprenticeship in 1978/9.

I still have it and it is still spot-on when referenced against more recent torque wrenches..

I was always told to set it to the lowest setting which is usually higher than zero
