broke my headlamp...bugger!!

went for a blast today up to Whitby. 1st proper ride out this year with a few pals ....really enjoyed it till I noticed when I got home my headlamp glass had cracked...not chipped...but cracked........oh sh*t !!!!

Come on then guys, how much will this cost me??? Have already got price from motorworks (£155 + vat) but just wondering if anyone knows of any other places to get them from???

Just out of curiosity....what will dealers charge????

Think I'll fork out the small price for headlamp protectors now

You could try this on ebay, if you cut your lens out & bond this on would be a cheap option

Motorworks were cheapest for me, though there -was- a guy on here somewhere with a UK-spec headlight going begging...
IIRC BMW were ~280, or somesuch, and BVM's parts guy outright said "go to a breakers".

Buy from BVM, swap it yourself, it's a dead-easy job as long as you don't ping washers everywhere.

Cheers Guys, managed to speak to a friend of a friend of a friend (you get the drift) who works at local BMW dealers, said I could have a genuine new unit for £210 (all above board and legal) ....seems fair as a 2nd hand one was going to cost me £155+vat

hhmmmmmm...........wonder what else I can get

Hi Sonic, thanks for remembering me and my UK spec lamp for sale
I pm´d Jailon and offering the 4700 miles old lamp (always protected by a TT guard) for 150 , but I wont take it personal if he wants to spend 210 instead
