And yet another reason to listen to the same old warning i've been posting for way more than 10 years now, cut all the cable ties holding all the handlebar wiring to the frame.
In fact cut all the cable ties holding any wiring to the frame.

Your right ; got to love it on here. Just checked the wiring from my ignition on my 95 1100; it was as tight as fuck on full lock; in fact the outer sleeve was cracked right next to the barrel; although everthing works i've taken no chances; and snipped the ties off; everthing is now " blowing free like the corn fields"; cheers lads

Bugger cable ties, go one step further, cut all the wiring you can see off and throw it down an Alp
