Anyone know any electrical Guru's that could help me with a fault on my Sony DCR-HC32 DC Car Battery Adapter (12v lead)

problem is power going in - no power coming out????

any ideas where i can get it repaired/replaced.

thanks

I am assuming that you are talking about a charger lead for a camcorder. If this is the case the cost of repairing, if possible, is likely to greatly exceed the cost of a replacement - even at Sony inflated prices.

I bought a charger in Maplins that handles most camcorder batteries. Plenty of others available on the net or do as I do now. Take a small mains inverter and use all the mains chargers.

What is the model number

What sort of plug does it have on the output end?

Have a look at the unit - what voltage and polarity does it need?

This any good?

The genuine Sony unit charges at 8.4v

You could cut the plug off your broken unit and solder it to the Maplins unit at use that at 9v.

You must get the polarity right though.
