Broken windscreen bracket on 1200LC - Help!!

Need your help, fellow Tossers.

I, stupidly, dropped bike yesterday and inadvertently knocked the windscreen on the way down which snapped it off the bracket which mounts it to the adjustable rails. This is not the fitting on the screen itself but the weird shaped one with an extended leg which then fits around the rails. Please see attached pics.

I've had the deflectors and others bits off today but for the life of me I could not work out how to get this rail undone to enable the leg to be removed and thus replaced.

Does anyone have any tips they can share? I have a tour planned next week in Snowdonia so would love the protection of the screen if I can.

look below the shaft on which that plastic parts slides.

there is a bolt there.

you will also need to remove the circlip and pin (obvious)

remove bolts 13 at the bottom of the two poles.

Aaah, that it. I did try this before but couldn't get enough purchase on the bar to drop it spinning, I'll try better grips and some tape. Just need my local dealer to get the new holder before thurs!! Thank you again. Much appreciated.
