It`s that time again so first June West Mids GSer meeting will be at the Broom Tavern, Broom Warwickshire on Tuesday 3rd June. Yes Santrix, I`ve doubled checked the date

It`s a great venue as you regulars know and will be good to see some more new members. Everyone`s welcome even if you don`t ride a beemer

Tell your friends, shout from the roof tops and see you all there for the usual good banter!! (see Al, I didn`t say everyone this time )

Not the biggest turn out we`ve ever had but a good night none the less and always good to see new faces.

For all those who didn`t turn up on this fine night, there can be no excuses and letters from you Mum won`t do so you will all have to do 100 ines of the following:

To be a complete tosser, i must attend all Tuesday meetings and bring an apple for the Mod at the next meeing

Good to meet you all last night. I found it very interesting. I couldn't hear all you were saying about diesel. (noisy neighbours). Were you saying that supermarket diesel has a lot of crap in it or were you talking just about bio-diesel?
Will be in Bulgaria for the next meet but looking forward to seeing you and hopefuly a few more next month.

In a nutshell, supermarket diesel is pretty low grade stuff and they aren`t too fussy on what`s in it, Bio Diesel especially. They have to keep the price down somehow! There have been a lot of issues with it clogging filters etc in trucks and they have found Bio Diesel to be the main culprit. It`s just full of all sorts of stuff which isn`t good and the Bio Diesel route is a bit of a scam by the manufacturers to appear greener than they really are . The advice I had from someone a lot cleverer than me was to use the majors i.e BP, Shell, Esso etc for Diesel for most of your fuel but the odd tank of Tesco`s finest would be OK. Every little helps
