Hi All,
I’ve owned this bike for over ten years, it’s barely been ridden but whenever I take photos of it to sell - I realise how much I like how it looks… I hope to hold my nerve this time as I have too many bikes at the moment.
1998 Buell M2 Cyclone, I bought it over ten years ago to turn it into a cafe racer. Soon after buying it, a white van very kindly tickled me off the bike at low speed, which ended up being quite a convenient way to fund the conversion. This is noted on the V5 doc, not sure what CAT it's registered as. I took the bike to Redmax who turned it into the cafe racer I always wanted. Full custom fly screen, tank cover, seat and (rubbered) custom exhaust. Highly well respected professional builders who did an excellent job to a high standard.
Motogadget clocks and key fob. Swapping out the clocks meant the mileage has reset but the MOT history shows consistent (apart from when the garage put it on the trip and put that in the system…) approx. 22k miles. A good chunk of history, including some of the original purchase paperwork. Has been sitting happily with limited use in my possession for the last decade…
Also fitted with a Fireball ‘race’ ignition timer, carbon airbox cover and a lightweight lithium battery. I can never decide if I want to keep the mirrors on so a mix of them on and off in the photos.
In the last 10 years I’ve probably only done about five hundred miles on it… It was SORN the last few years. I’ve just had it fully recommissioned at great expense (+£2k) by the experts at Snobbs customs. This was a full doing over, all new fluids, carb rebuild etc has also just had a new front tyre. So it's ready to actually be used by someone!
Points to be aware of:
Front brake has a slight pulse; likely just surface rust or a bit of pad glazing from lack of use. I’ve priced it with a new disc and pad refresh in mind..
It’s not a showroom bike, there are minor paint marks on the frame from the years, easily touched up.
Realistically, I’ve no firm idea on market value, but I’m open to sensible offers from someone who appreciates what this is.
Price:£4200
Available to view in West London.
Some poncy photos:

I've not gotten around to replacing those bolts yet...
