Buffeting

Just been on my first ride on my 1150, only had it three weeks !!

Couldn't believe how bad the buffeting was , so i dropped the screen to its most laid back position and felt it was a bit better .

Has anyone tried without the screen at all , like the 650?

I'm not keen on the Tobinatored look, but it works well for a lot of riders on here.

i ride mine with no screen at all , i have a adv screen with adapters but it is great with out it (and looks better) you do get some wind but its not bad as you would think !!

Changing your helmet can make a big difference. I also find tobinators to be a must if you're tall.

Try fitting a bigger screen 17inch rather than the standard 14inch

Got an Adv and tried std screen, std screen with tobinators, and a std MRA screen on it's own.

The MRA is the best by a mile, no buffeting whatsover

I try to get there as soon as the music stops and the lights come on or all thats left are crap sausage rolls with no meat in `em and some soggy quiche...

Another vote for the MRA, even better with tobinators fitted as well but SWMBO felt her lid was being pulled off her head so just have the MRA now.
