Bugs - if you thought that the UK was bad

Just road from Volgograd to Astrakahan. We had heard about the bugs but nothing could prepare you for them - helmet sounded like a gigacounter. Had to stop every 60 miles to clean the visor so that you could ride on.

Says 350mL ... so about normal. Think ours are 375mL.

On the flying bugs .. I find having my headlight on I get more insect bodies than when my light is turned off.... but at night I need the light on to see the roos...
