Building an HPN lookee likee

I'll add to that, for not a huge amount of gain if you're riding it in the road

Remember that they weren't built for the road

They are conceived for off-road and overland travelling

obviously they are not as quick steering as stock bikes due to the greater wheel base - but off road they are sweet

what kind of touring do you have in mind?

Euro road touring, or African overland?

If the former, I would suggest modding a 100GS and keeping the stock paralever rear. For e.g. Moorespeed pistons, new forks, lower pegs higher risers and your good to go

If the latter, then you could consider putting a 1100 paralever on the back, strengthening frame etc etc etc
