Just fitted those 50% brighter same wattage fellas and would like some information from you friendly types. As these are brighter will the additional heat generated spoil (Fook) the lenses. If anyone has had any previous issues could you let me know.

There should be no problem, as its the illumination with the gas, don't think it causes any more heat as there still 55watt.

YES! Still not up to the standards of proper extra auxilliary lights but I reckon you get a fair few extra candles worth from them.

They do tend to blow a bit quicker than standard jobbies as I guess they're buring hotter but its a compromise worth settling for.

Must admit those bulbs are pretty good. Halfords are doing a BOGOF at the moment not bad for £12.99.

I used some of the Halfords 50% brighter bulbs in my Hella's, you could definitely see the difference. Although they're still no where near the 'white light' given off by the PIAA extreme white bulbs, but they are £30 a throw
