Or, you could try and get hold of an american issue version, just as good as thermarest, but with a plastic valve 'a la beachball' which works ok, kept me warm and comfy for many anight under the sky, and all for only 18 dollars.

thermarest is the one and only.

Exept for the Exped SIM (self inflating matterass) which is every bit as good if not slightly better designed. Available in different lengths and thicknesses so you can choose pack size v comfort ratio.

Again got mine from TravelDri. Les lets you try before you buy if you meet him at events so you know if it works for you. He's always full of good advice that's tailored to you and not to what he's selling. He's even talked me out of buying some things I didn't need.

I bought the Thermarest Trail lite in the end, appears very comfy, well, that's on the laminate in the lounge
