I’m after a decent bunkhouse or maybe a camping barn in Mid or North Wales for Saturday 27th August. I’m struggling to find anywhere at the moment due to it being a bank holiday most places will only take a weekend booking.

Anyone got any recommendations or ideas? Ideally I’m looking for somewhere that is within easy walking distance to a good pub:beerjug:

Thanks:thumb

I stayed here with some friends last weekend; http://www.snowdoninn.co.uk/ Cwellyn Arms, as the website suggests it's at the foot of Snowdon.

Pro's;
Great food
Good hospitality
Bunkhouse/Farm/Camping accomodation
Beautiful area
Accom facilities 10-15 minute walk from the pub

Cons;
Pub is small with little area for socialising if you're not eating
Accom facilities 15-30 minute walk from the pub (takes longer walking back :beer: )

Worth a look:thumb2

Castle inn http://www.thecastleinn.co.uk/ is good if your lucky, they have a 6/12/14 man bunk houses also camping, great pub and steaks. Not really Mid/North but a good ride from there to North Wales :blast :D

Try Rhayader as well abit further north. The horseshoe B&B i think also has a bunk house http://www.rhayader-horseshoe.co.uk/ plus there is a good camp site 5 mins walk from the town center
