Hi all,
I'm thinking of buying a used Satnav but I've never had one and know very little about them.
If I buy a 2nd hand SPIII with say V8 mapping on it, can I update this to a newer map, and if so is it expensive to do?
If it is I might as well save a bit longer and get a Zumo 550 or similar.
Thanks:beerjug:

Mapping updates cost around £80.
Having said that, V8 should last you a couple of years yet. I went from V5 to V8 only when I got fed up with the amount of changed junctions and new bypasses in France and Spain sending me strange ways.
